The 15th edition of the
Gerle d'Or was held on Thursday 18th June 2009 in the Colombier
Castle Knights' Room.
After having tasted and rated 26 Chasselas 2008 vintage wines,
previously awarded the “Gerle” seal of quality, the wine tasters
were delighted to see that the Domaine E. de Montmollin Fils, in
Auvernier, had, for the fourth time in six years, earned the Gerle
d’Or (2004, 2006, 2008 and 2009) for its white AOC Auvernier 2008.
The new distinction will once again see Pierre and Jean-Michel de
Montmollin waving to the cheering crowds on their float parade at
the Corso Fleuri Grape Harvest Fête! |
